RAILWAYS OF BRAZILS
In Postcards and Souvenir Albuns
João Emilio Gerodetti e Carlos Cornejo

Central station in Belém, the capital of Pará state. The station, shown here in a postcard mailed in 1914, was located on Avenida 16 de Novembro, near the city’s port region. It was built a few years after São Braz station, which stood about three kilometers away, within the city limits. The new station assumed the latter’s role as starting point of the Estrada de Ferro de Bragança (EFB), but today it no longer exists.
