RAILWAYS OF BRAZILS
In Postcards and Souvenir Albuns
João Emilio Gerodetti e Carlos Cornejo

Locomotive No. 7, bearing the initials of the Estrada de Ferro Príncipe do Grão Pará. This railway used a cog system to cross the mountains and complete the line to the city of Petrópolis. The locomotive pictured here had a center cogwheel and was manufactured by Baldwin Locomotive Works, in the U.S.A., most likely in 1889.
