Friburgo station and a Mogul steam engine, with a balloon-shaped chimney, manufactured by Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia. This type of locomotive served the Leopoldina Railway around 1910. By the 1930s the Leopoldina had 3,087 kilometers of rail serving 307 stations in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, and Minas Gerais.
