Circa-1915 panorama of Olinda from the Igreja da Sé. At center, in Praça da Abolição (also called Praça da Preguiça - "Lazy Square"), we can see the Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, dating from 1580. This is the Carmelite Order’s oldest church in Brazil.
